Pharmacopeia

Our Pharmaceutical Heritage

Our pharmaceutical heritage spans four generations, beginning with our great-grandfather, who became a licensed pharmacist in 1906.

This legacy was continued by our grandfathers, father, and mother, all of whom were pharmacists. The drive to improve the quality of life for those suffering, paired with a passion for the craft of creating various creams, syrups, gels, and magistral prescriptions, was passed down through generations.

At Alchemy on the Hill, we honor these family values by utilizing locally grown medicinal plants and the knowledge passed down through generations to create our brand.

Our herbs are transformed into pure herbal extracts and used to create our hand-made products.

We still refer to our great-grandfather's pharmaceutical bible, the "Belgian Pharmacopeia," and other classical magistral books from our family's library. This way, we ensure we use traditional techniques when producing our essential oil extracts, hydrolates, tinctures, syrups, mints, and herbal teas.
