Our Vision

We recognize our responsibility in addressing two pressing issues that we see in the world today.

Firstly, the fast-paced, ever-changing, and always ON nature of today's world can cause erosion of mental balance and resilience for many individuals.

Secondly, the agricultural systems we have established are not in harmony with the natural ecosystem.

We cultivate botanicals sustainably on our farm and extract their pure essence to produce high-quality botanical preparations. By engaging in a mindful and harmonious relationship with our ecosystem, we strive to enhance biodiversity and strengthen the resilience of the natural environment.

We cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment where people can restore their mental balance through purposeful manual work in and with nature.

Additionally, we offer a space for other organizations to contemplate how they can implement similar practices within their operations.

 

Our Heritage

Belgian Pharmacopeia and coffee

With a rich heritage spanning four generations of pharmacists, we are revisiting and re-learning our great-grandfather's traditional techniques and knowledge in the art of crafting artisanal magistral preparations using herbs and herbal extracts. We strive to preserve and restore the ancient methods of the apothecary.

 

How it started

Jelle and Lotte started Alchemy on the Hill, realizing and reshaping the dream their late father Bruno had for their hilltop farm. 

They love to celebrate life and share the abundance of the farm with others.
